FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to rolling. Device for removal of scale from movable workpiece moved relative to this device in direction of movement, comprises rotary head (14), made with possibility of rotation around rotation axis (R), inclined at an angle relative to perpendicular to workpiece surface. Besides, this device contains multiple jet nozzles (16.1; 16.2; 16.3) located on rotary head (14); at that, liquid outflow is provided from jet nozzles (16), in particular, water to workpiece at inclination angle to workpiece surface. Plurality of jet nozzles (16.1; 16.2; 16.3) is located on rotary head (14) at radial distance (s1; s2; s3) of different value from its rotation axis (R), wherein from jet nozzle (16.1; 16.2; 16.3) located at greater radial distance from rotation axis (R), fluid is discharged with high volume flow rate (V1; V2; V3) than from jet nozzle located at smaller radial distance from rotation axis (R).
EFFECT: invention enables to intensify descaling and reduce temperature losses of the hot-rolled workpiece.
