FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: when kicking intratubal fault detector in the pipeline, the self-destroying devices which secure articulated joints of the multi-section intratubal fault detector and which have arbitrary shape, for example, pins are used. The devices are arranged in articulated joints of sections of multi-section intratubal fault detector. The material and the shape of the self-destroying devices withstand loads arising while the kicking. The self-destroying devices are destroyed during the motion of the multi-section intratubal fault detector along curvilinear sections of the pipeline.
EFFECT: simplification of multi-section intratubal fault detector kicking, elimination of folding of the fault detector in articulated joints, elimination of fault detector damage due to locking and jamming.
