FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method includes charging-discharging and storing batteries in a charged state. Analog sensors and local heaters are mounted on the batteries. In the process of operation, current value of temperature of storage batteries is determined. If the temperature of one of the sensors has reached the limit cutoff threshold, the heater is switched off. If the temperature of one of the sensors has reached the minimum switching threshold, the heater is switched on. At that, in case the temperature of one sensor reaches the cutoff threshold, in this case, at the same time, the other sensor has reached the switch-on threshold, the priority is made for switching off the heater. The analog temperature sensors are connected via the battery control device to the information exchange channel between said voltage converter, the thermal control system and the on-board computer.
EFFECT: increased usage efficiency of lithium-ion batteries and improved service life characteristics of the space vehicle.
