FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: application of 2-(isopropylthiomethylene)-3-methyl-3-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1,3-oxazolidinium chloride as an immunosuppressant is proposed. The technical result is compound in doses far from toxic (LD50 at intraperitoneal introduction to mice - 2000 mg/kg), has an in vitro selective antiproliferative effect on actively fissionable lymphoid cells, but not on tumour cells.
EFFECT: invention will allow to create medicaments for treatment of autoimmune and allergic diseases based on the said compound.
