FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: first feed flow containing one or more hydrocarbons and the second feed flow containing oxygen are preheated separately from each other, mixed in a mass flow ratio from the second feed flow and the first feed flow corresponding to the oxygen number λ, less than or equal to 0.31. By means of the burner unit, the flow is supplied to the combustion chamber, where partial oxidation of these hydrocarbons occurs to produce cracked gas, which after quenching by means of injection of an aqueous medium is quenched to a temperature of 80 to 90°C. This produces a process water stream as well as a gaseous product stream that is cooled in a cooling column by direct heat exchange with cooling water to produce a process water stream as a bottom stream, a gaseous product stream as a flow at the head, and a side stream, which in the electrofilter is impoverished in soot content. A process water stream is produced in the electrostatic precipitator. All process water streams are combined and conducted through the soot channels with the surface particle separators to produce a combined process water stream. The combined process water stream is subjected to purification by partial evapouration in a single-stage pressure-relief vessel. This combined process water stream is evapourated in an amount of 0.01 up to 10 wt % based on the total weight of the same stream, to produce a purified process water stream that is recycled in the process.
EFFECT: high yield of produced acetylene, providing a closed cycle of process water.
