FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method includes using ground material other than Hevea with an average length of 1/2" to 4" and the maximum moisture content of 20 wt %. Processing is selected from: processing in a hammer mill using a screen calibre of less than 1/2" and processing in a roller mill with corrugated rollers having no more than 12 corrugations per inch. A milled plant other than Hevea with the maximum moisture content of 20 wt % is obtained. The content of rubber to be extracted is at least 30% higher than in ground material before grinding. It is possible to use guayule shrub as plant other than Hevea.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase rubber content while processing a material other than Hevea.
