FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of treating dandelion plants components. Proposed treatment method of dried dandelion roots (10) of the type Taraxacum kok-saghyz, in which rubber is obtained as a first valuable product, provides for milling and/or squeezing dandelion roots (10) with addition of water (30) to form suspension (60). Dandelion roots (10), having an average diameter of 2 to 10 mm, are suspended in water. Milling of dandelion roots (10) includes at least one preliminary milling (20) and grinding and/or crushing (50). Water (30) with neutral pH or acidic pH in amount of 5 to 20 parts in terms of the weight of plant components is added during grinding and/or crushing (50) and/or during preliminary milling (20). Water is added before or after preliminary milling (20) of plant components dandelion (10) and pressed before grinding and/or crushing and before first separation at temperature below 40 °C to obtain inuline syrup and/or squeezed water with inuline (340). Inulin syrup and/or squeezed water with inuline (340) is not returned to the process. Solid phase is resuspended with addition of water to form suspension (60). First separation (70) of suspension (60) is carried out on at least one phase with high content of inulin and low content of rubber (80, 80') and at least one phase with high content of rubber and low content of inulin (90, 90'). First separation (70) is carried out by means of two-phase decanter or separator. Phase with high content of rubber and low content of inulin (90, 90') forms the first valuable product, or first valuable product is obtained from phase with high content of rubber and low content of inulin (90, 90'). Said steps are performed without addition of enzymes.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining two valuable products: rubber and inulin, with no need for special disposal of waste water after the process.
