FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: generator of gas-air mixtures for testing serviceability of gas analyzers comprises a body with an outlet union for connection to the gas analyzer and an inlet hole located opposite the union to supply air into inner space of the body, a tank for analyzed substance, which capacity is less than the inner capacity of the body and fixed inside the body. At that, the tank for analyzed substance is made in form of sealed ampoule filled with liquefied gas, and equipped with a pipeline directed with open end towards the outlet union in which a normally closed two-way valve is installed and which opens this pipeline for feeding gas from the ampoule into the space between the ampoule and the walls of the body.
EFFECT: simplification of design to ensure application of device under field conditions.
