SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a metering system and a metering method for lubricating oil of cylinders in the cylinders of large diesel engines, for example ship engines, comprising of: a lubricating oil supply system that may consist of a pump station or battery; - power line from the lubricating oil supply system; a plurality of injectors having an inlet, an opening/closing valve assembly and one or more nozzle bores for injecting a lubricating oil for the cylinders into a cylinder connected thereto, wherein the injectors are connected to the power line and correspond to the number of cylinders in the engine or a plurality of engines; and - a control unit controlling the operation of each opening/closing valve assembly. In order to overcome the drawback of depending on the flow rate and viscosity in the supply pipelines, the system is characterized in that it includes a flow measuring module for each injector and/or for each cylinder, and also in that the flow measuring modules are connected to the control unit for use in a control closed loop.
EFFECT: controlling the distribution of injection of lubricant depending on engine signals.
