FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a low-speed two-cycle engine lubricant, particularly marine diesel engines. Method of lubrication is based on using the principle of injection with vortex (SIP) when lubricating nozzles (4) are located closer to TDC than 1/5 part of full stroke of piston (32), i.e. closer than in typical marine diesel engines. This can be achieved by modifying sleeves (2) of cylinders or by adding new mounting holes in cylinder (3). If such modification is not possible, improvement of the spraying principle with swirling can also be achieved by directing the jet to TDC or place on cylinder sleeve (2) located closer to TDC compared to arrangement of SIP valves, for example, at an angle of more than 30 degrees or even more than 60 degrees, measured from the plane normal to the axis of the cylinder. Both improvements can be combined.
EFFECT: invention improves lubrication of low-speed two-stroke engine, as well as reduced wear of cylinder.
