FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: fireproof composition forming the insulating layer is described, comprising: component A, which is a multifunctional Michael acceptor with, at least, one Michael acceptor functional group of the structure , in which R1, R2 and R3 in each case are hydrogen, Y is OR5. Moreover, R5 is a linear, branched or cyclic optionally substituted alkyl group; component B, which is a Michael multifunctional donor with functional Michael donor groups, which are β-ketoesters. The functional Michael acceptor groups and the functional Michael donor groups are in each case independently attached to the polyol compound, which is selected from the group consisting of pentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane and propoxylated glycerol; component C, which comprises an insulating layer forming additive that contains a carbon source, a dehydrogenation catalyst, a blowing agent, and/or a thermally expandable compound; and a catalyst for the Michael addition reaction. The application of the aforementioned forming insulating layer for coating steel structural elements or non-metallic building elements is also described as an anti-fire layer.

EFFECT: producing an insulation composition forming an insulation layer, not based on a solvent having a rapid curing, ease of application requiring an insignificant layer thickness due to the formation of an effective layer of fly ash.
