FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a foamed multicomponent composition forming an insulating layer, which includes at least one alkoxy silane-functional polymer with terminal and/or along side polymer chain alkoxy-functional silane groups of general formula (I) -Si(R1)m(OR2)3−m (I), in which R1 denotes a straight or branched alkyl residue with 1–16 carbon atoms, R2 denotes a straight or branched alkyl residue with 1–6 carbon atoms and m denotes integer from 0 to 2, at least one fire-prevention additive forming an insulating layer, a mixture of foaming agents and a cross-linking agent, as well as use of said composition as local foam material or for making molded articles.
EFFECT: technical result is providing a multicomponent composition which forms an insulating layer, where the insulating layer from the composition provides high fire protection and formation of a solid crust of ash.
