FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and method for crankcase ventilation in a vehicle. Gaseous fuel source is fluidly coupled to the transmission via a flow control valve and the transmission, in turn, is fluidly coupled to an air inflow line of the PCV system. Flow control valve is configured to control a flow of gaseous fuel into the transmission and then into the PCV system and crankcase.
EFFECT: reduced friction in the engine and transmission of the vehicle.
