SUBSTANCE: method for producing seamless machined pipes of 610×28-32 mm size from steel of 08Cr18N10T-S grade includes casting of hollow ingots by electroslag remelting with size of 740×inner550×3300±50 mm, boring and turning in ingots-blanks with size of 720×inner570×3300±50 mm heating of ingots-blanks in continuous furnaces to temperature of 1260-1270°C, supplying thereof to the ingot trolley, purging with compressed air or inert gas, casting of ingots-blanks inside from two ends with mixture of graphite with table salt in ratio of 50/50 and 2000-2500 g, rolling thereof in pilger mill to conversion hot-rolled tubes of 630×48×4100-4300 mm with diameter reduction Δ=12.5%, cutting of process wastes by hot cutting saw, straightening on six-roll straightening machine in 2-3 passes to curvature of not more than5.0 mm per length of conversion tube, austenitization, boring and turning of conversion tubes with 630×48×4100-4300 mm into commercial sizes 610×28-32×4100-4300 mm.
EFFECT: reduction of metal consumption coefficient.
