SUBSTANCE: method for producing seamless machined pipes of 610×15-20 mm size from steel of 08Cr18N10T-S grade includes casting of hollow ingots by electroslag remelting with size of 740×inner570×3200±50 mm, boring and turning in ingots-blanks with size of 720×inner590×3200±50 mm heating of ingots-blanks in continuous furnaces to temperature of 1260-1270°C, supplying thereof to the ingot trolley, purging with compressed air or inert gas, casting of ingots-blanks inside from two ends with mixture of graphite with table salt in ratio of 50/50 and 2000-2500 g, rolling thereof in pilger mill to conversion hot-rolled tubes of 630×36×4500-4800 mm with diameter reduction Δ=12.5%, cutting of process wastes by hot cutting saw, straightening on six-roll straightening machine in 2-3 passes to curvature of not more than 5.0 mm per length of conversion tube, austenitization, boring and turning of conversion tubes with 630×36×4500-4800 mm into commercial sizes 610×15-20×4500-4800 mm.
EFFECT: reduction of metal consumption coefficient.
