SUBSTANCE: tooth for fastening to edge of working machine bucket through the adapter has a cavity for inserting a part of said adapter, extending between said first and second opposite outer working surfaces from open end in the fastening end of the tooth to the lower end. At that, a cavity is limited by an inner wall, which comprises first and second internally facing inner walls which are inner surfaces connected, respectively, with said first outer working surface and said second outer working surface, and opposite side walls connecting the first and second inner walls to each other. At that, the cavity limits a rear portion passing along the Y axis and at least partially disposed between the plane defined by the X and Z axes, and open end of the cavity, front part passing along axis Y and located between the plane defined by axes X and Z, and the lower end of the cavity and stepped part connecting the rear part and the front part to each other, at that, in the rear part both first and second inner walls have a pair of substantially plane rear contact surfaces separated from each other by a rear separating area extending beyond the limits of said pair of first contact surfaces. The invention also relates to an adapter and to a connection between the tooth and the adapter.
