FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: pneumatic cap for liquid spray gun includes a basic link including a body, a pair of air bell mouths, each of which includes an outlet air hole and a cap nozzle hole. The pneumatic cap also includes a shaped insert attached to the body including a bridge and a pair of profiled air holes. Each outlet air hole is designed to direct air to one pair of profiled air holes. Each pair hole of profiled air holes is located at opposite end of pneumatic cap spray axis. The basic link also includes at least one pair of air bell mouths that have at least one pair of outlet air holes. The set includes a number of pneumatic caps, where the pairs of profiled air holes of at least two shaped inserts are made in different configurations. The method for manufacturing the pneumatic cap consists in production of shaped insert containing the bridge and the pair of profiled air holes, production of the basic link, including the pair of air bell mouths, each having an outlet opening, and assembling shaped insert with the basic link to produce the pneumatic cap. Each outlet air hole is designed to direct air to one pair of profiled air holes. The spray head unit for attachment to liquid gun sprayer consists of a barrel and any of the pneumatic caps. The liquid gun sprayer comprises a spray head unit assembled with the body of liquid spray gun.

EFFECT: reducing production costs, increasing the accuracy of manufactured parts and providing design capacity of the spray guns.
