FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: when performing caesarean section after surgical incision on the uterus, extraction of the fetus and afterbirth from the uterine cavity to the area of the uterine isthmus with the seizure of its ligaments and the vessels passing through them, a plastic tightening loop with a lock is led, which is placed below the incision on the uterus. The loop is tightened and fixed in the lock. Then, the surgical wound is sewn on the uterus, after which the plastic loop is cut with scissors and extracted from the abdominal cavity.
EFFECT: method allows to significantly reduce blood loss and prevent the development of pathological uterine bleeding in the caesarean section.
