SUBSTANCE: light-emitting device according to the invention includes a substrate extending in the first direction, a sealing polymer element, and a light-emitting element. The substrate includes a flexible substrate, a plurality of conductor portions, and a groove portion disposed among the plurality of wiring portions. The sealing polymer element seals the substrate portion and the light-emitting element. The sealing polymer element contacts the light-emitting element. The sealing polymer element is spaced from the first groove portion that is a part of the flute portion and extends in the second direction that intersects the first direction.

EFFECT: possibility of reducing the mechanical stress caused between the light-emitting element and the substrate.
