FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: solution contains an absorbent of carbon dioxide based on amino acid salts and an additive that activates the absorption rate, which is germanium dioxide. The invention also relates to the method for accelerating the absorption of carbon dioxide, in which a carbon dioxide-containing gas is brought into contact with the said washing solution. Carbon dioxide is physically dissolved in the washing solution and chemically absorbed by the absorbent. Herewith the germanium dioxide has a catalytic effect in, at least, one stage of the chemical absorption of carbon dioxide.
EFFECT: creating an environmentally friendly washing solution with a high degree of absorption and low energy consumption during regeneration.
