FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in food, chemical, petrochemical and metallurgical industrial sectors. The method of boosting the pressure of carbon dioxide in the course of its absorptive discharge lies in getting a saturated absorbent in the absorber and in the subsequent discharge of carbon dioxide from it by its distillation in the splitter column under increased pressure. The heated absorbent after distillation is subjected to desorbtion in the desorber by reducing the pressure and the discharged carbon dioxide is used for additional saturation of the saturated absorbent in an additional absorber before passing it through for distillation, subject to the following: Pdist > Pdes > Pk, where: Pdist is the pressure of the distillation process; Pdes is the pressure of the desorbtion process; Pk is the partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the initial gaseous mixture.
EFFECT: increase in the content of carbon dioxide in the saturated absorbent, reducing the temperature of the absorbent's distillation process, increase in the size of achievable pressure and degree of extraction of compressed carbon dioxide.
