FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: engine dust-protecting device comprises cyclones that are fixed between the outer and inner cyclone panels forming a dust-removing path. In order to adapt the dust-protecting device for engines with frontal air intake and for convenience of the operation, the second version of the aircraft engine dust-protecting device contains cyclones fixed between the outer and inner cyclone panels which form an axially elongated body with a front cyclone panel displaced inwardly. A fairing is fixed at the outlet of the dust-protecting device inside the body. The mounting system is provided outside and configured for turning the body of the dust-protecting device. According the two versions, the arrangement of cyclones and the section of ducts for dust concentrate suction is determined by geometric relations protected by the invention.

EFFECT: increased degree of cleaning, reduced hydraulic resistance along the dust suction path, provided convenience of the operation.
