SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the new method of producing compounds represented by formula (II) comprising the reaction of a compound represented by the formula (I) with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst consisting of a ruthenium complex, where in formulas (I) and (II) R is a hydrogen atom or a benzyl group, and the ruthenium complex is a compound represented by the following formula: Ru(X) (Y) (Px)n(L).
EFFECT: new improved method of producing a derivative is designed, which can be used as an intermediate link for producing agricultural chemicals such as acaricides, or drugs, which selectively is produced by low cost in the reaction of the derivative with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst consisting of a complex of ruthenium.
