FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for manufacture of electrical articles, in particular, such as conductors of high-voltage overhead lines and cables of submersible oil pumps operating at temperature up to 230°C, when a combination of high strength at elevated temperatures, high corrosion resistance, increased conductivity, reduced creep and reduced weight is required. Thermo-corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy contains in wt %: zirconium 0.2-0.32; iron 0.15-0.42; silicon 0.02-0.1; titanium, chromium, vanadium, manganese in the amount of 0.01-0.04; magnesium, copper, zinc in amount 0.01-0.07; boron 0.001-0.01; one of rare or rare earth metals from the group: niobium, cerium, yttrium, scandium 0.005-0.2; the rest is aluminium. The alloy is produced in the form of a rod produced by casting aluminium alloy in high-frequency electromagnetic field or produced by methods of intense plastic deformation.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance and corrosion resistance.
