FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of conductor aluminum alloys and can be used for production of electrotechnical products, in particular, flexible cables or screens of power cables. Conducting aluminum alloy contains, wt%: iron 0.40–0.60, zirconium 0.05–0.10, silicon up to 0.07, at least one impurity element selected from the group of titanium, chromium, vanadium, manganese, up to 0.015, aluminum and unavoidable impurities – the rest, wherein alloy has structure consisting of aluminum matrix and secondary discharge and eutectic phase, wherein aluminum matrix contains silicon and zirconium, and the eutectic phase is at least one element from the group containing silicon and iron, with average transverse size of not more than 3 mcm.

EFFECT: improved manufacturability of alloy rod when drawing into wire of small diameters, as well as wider range of conductor aluminum alloys of Al-Fe system with additive of zirconium and silicon, having high electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance and strength, including after high-temperature heating.
