FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator contains a frame made in the form of two supporting horizontal plates connected by vertical rods. The upper horizontal plate rests on the top cover of the helical spring and is rigidly connected to the cover by means of fastening elements. The lower horizontal plate rests on an elastic damping element. The helical spring and the elastic damping element are mounted on a common base. Above the bottom horizontal plate is there is a vibration damping gasket fixed for installing on a vibration-insulated object. The helical spring is made as a cylindrical screw and contains two parts with opposite directed ends. The first spring part has rectangular section turns with rounded edges, and the second part is made hollow. The opposite directed end of the first part is located in the cavity of the second part. The segmental profile gaps of the contacting spring parts are filled with antifriction lubricant. The elastic damping element is made in the form of a vibration damping spring, containing a body made of a helical hollow elastic steel tube. An additional elastic steel tube is installed inside the body coaxially with a gap. A friction element is located in clearances between the tubes. A screw solid elastic pin is set coaxially to the body.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of vibration isolation in resonance mode.
