FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator contains a stack of alternating elastic and metal plates with holes covered by a combined spring. The stack and the spring are located between the lid and the base of the vibration isolator. Locks enter holes of elastic plates and are fixed in metal plates. The locks of one metal plate are evenly distributed between the facing locks of another metal plate. The locks are in the form of rods with middle part fixed in metal plates. The spring is made helical with built-in damper and consists of two parts with opposite ends. The first spring part has rectangular section turns with rounded edges, and the second part is made hollow. The opposite directed end of the first part is located in the cavity of the second part. The segmental profile gaps of the contacting spring parts are filled with antifriction lubricant. A sealing collar is mounted on the end of the second part of the spring. The first part of the screw spring is enclosed by the tube of a damping material. The gaps between the spring and the tube are filled with crumb of friction material.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of vibration isolation in resonant mode by increasing the damping in the system.
