SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication domain using wireless networks based on messaging through an unreliable medium and performing wireless communication in LTE networks with providing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ). The invention discloses a method for providing a HARQ response in the LTE network for a PUCCH 1b format, which includes the steps of: receiving one or more downstream channel assignments of a packetization window on the wireless downstream control channel; setting a reception status for each downstream subframe for transmitting data in the packetization window based on, whether the subframe has been associated with one separate received downstream chennal assignment on the downstream channel for transmitting data, and based on, whether the subframe has been successfully received; setting a reception status for the downstream subframes for transmitting data in the packetization window that do not have a corresponding downstream assignment to the predetermined value; and transmitting the response. The response is based on the reception status set by the response module.
EFFECT: increased noise immunity.
