FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes the following stages: (1) a solution containing a certain amount of propylene, propylenoxide, optional, propane, water and an organic solvent and an aqueous solution of organic solvent as the first extraction reagent comes into the first extraction distillation column, in which the separation is carried out. Rectification conditions in the first extractive distillation column are adjusted so that the enriched propylene product is the top fraction obtained from the top of the first extractive distillation column and a bottom product fraction, which is enriched with propylene oxide, an organic solvent and water, obtained from the bottom of the first extractive distillation column; (2) the product of the lower fraction, which is enriched with propylene oxide, an organic solvent and water and obtained from the bottom of the first extractive distillation column, is separated to obtain a propylenoxide product and a solution containing an organic solvent and water.
EFFECT: method according to the present invention provides a low energy consumption, a simple process and a high yield of propylene oxide.
