FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: electronic smoking product contains: the elastic gasket; the first section, including the outer casing and the liquid supply container, the second section, including the outer casing and the power supply. The first section is detachably connected to the second section by the connector, including the first connecting part, extending in the longitudinal direction and including the protuberance, extending outwardly from its outer circumference; and the second connecting part, extending longitudinally, at one of the second connecting part ends there is the longitudinal hole and the internal groove, extending longitudinally along the hole, adapted to interface with the mentioned protuberance of the first connecting part after the first connecting part is inserted into the hole of the second connecting part, and with the ability to compress the elastic gasket. The method of connecting the first and the second sections of the electronic smoking product includes the stages at which engage the protuberance of the first section the first connecting part with the longitudinal channel of the second section the second connecting part during placement of the first connecting part in the second connecting part hole. The first section includes the outer casing, in which the liquid supply container is located, while the second section includes the second outer casing, which includes the power supply; move the specified protuberance sliding along the specified longitudinal channel followed by the turn and enter of the specified first connecting part into the circular groove, made inside the second connecting part; and provide the tactile perception of the connection due to axial compression of the gasket after the entering of the first connecting part into the second connecting part.

EFFECT: creation of connection, that will allow to perform the easy and reliable connection and disconnection of the first and the second sections of the electronic smoking product.
