FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: tire protectoe has a thickness of PMU of the wear material and comprises, at least, two main grooves (3, 4) with a depth P1 close to or equal to PMU. These main grooves (3, 4) define the protruding element (2), at least, one auxiliary groove (5) with a depth P2, which is smaller than the depth P1 of the main grooves (3, 4). The said auxiliary groove (5) extends continuously through the entire protruding element (2) and comprises a bottom (50) of the groove. Each of the main and auxiliary grooves is oriented in the main direction along the circumference. There are a plurality of sipes (6), which are formed in the protruding element (2). Each of the said sipes comprises side portions (61, 62) formed one on each side of the auxiliary groove (5). The said side portions (61, 62) are connected to each other by a connecting part (63). The said connecting part (63) is formed radially inward with respect to the tread from the bottom (50) of the auxiliary groove (5). The connecting part (63) comprises a sipe portion (630) oriented in the main direction of the auxiliary groove (5), namely, forming an angle of at most 30 degrees with respect to the circumferential direction.
EFFECT: improving the performance of the tire when driving on wet road.
