FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: tire for wheels of vehicles comprises tread band (2) having tread pattern, in which central zone (5) is defined, extending circumferentially and symmetrically on both sides of equatorial plane (X) of tire at width equal to approximately 60 % of effective width (L) of tread band, and first and second shoulder zones (6, 7), which extend from corresponding sides of central zone, opposite in axial direction. Tread band comprises a plurality of main grooves (10) extending from central area (5) through first or alternatively second shoulder zone (6, 7), to open on side edge (8, 9) of tread band, and at least one plurality of auxiliary grooves (20, 21), which extend substantially in direction along circumference between following one after another pairs of main grooves (10). Main grooves are located so that any radial plane (R S) intersects in central zone (5) with at least four main grooves (10).
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of operating characteristics of tire when driving on snow, dry and wet surfaces of roads.
