FIELD: automotive engineering.
SUBSTANCE: tire tread has a ribbed pattern that includes at least four major grooves (11, 12) and at least five rows of contact areas (10, 20, 30). A plurality of curved grooves (21), each having a curved shape, are formed on an intermediate contact area (20) located on the inside of each main groove (12) of the shoulder region. Each of the curved grooves (21) has one end part opening to the main groove (12) of the shoulder region and the other end part closed on the intermediate contact area (20). Each of the curved grooves (21) consists of the first inclined area of the groove extending from the open end part to the curved part and the second inclined area of the groove extending from the curved part to the closed end part. The direction oriented from the open end part of the first inclined area of the groove to the curved part coincides with the rotation direction (R) and the second inclined area of the groove is bent towards the first inclined area of the groove. The curved part serves as a vertex.
EFFECT: uneven wear of the tire is suppressed while driving along a circular path and the increase in noise after wear is prevented.
