SUBSTANCE: measuring tool with a plurality of sensors is arranged along the drill string. When drilling, the measurements are continuously delivered from each sensor to determine torque data, bending moment and axial force. This information is iteratively included in the mechanical model of the rotary-cutting drilling (based on standard mechanics of deformable materials and mechanics of wellbores) for precise evaluation of elongation and twisting of the drill string in real-time or quasi-real-time mode and, thus providing precise positioning of the wellbore.
