FIELD: blasting.

SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of preliminary mounted and charged detonating unit with main explosive material in which conversion of combustion takes place into detonation, and an initiator, the assembly and loading of the latter consists in pressing the central and annular electrode with electric insulating material, to which a filament bridge is soldered and installed in the up by press-fitting in a press fit. A part of initiator charge is poured onto the bridge, pressed by the cap into which another part of initiator charge is prepressed. The detonating unit is made in the form of a charged threaded bushing which is screwed into the body additionally pressing the explosive material in the initiator cap. Pressing a part of initiator material in the cap is carried out with 1200 kgf/cm2 pressure, pressing of the charged cap into the cup is carried out with 2000 kgf/cm2 pressure, the bushing is screwed into the body of the electric detonator with tightening torque up to 35 kgf×cm.

EFFECT: resistance to mechanical effects is increased, and time of device operation is stabilised.
