FIELD: blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment of explosive devices, in particular small-size detonators. Housing with hole for explosive material is installed with support on base of press tool, having matrix with hole and made with movable and non-moving parts. A cap is placed in the hole of the housing. When the body is installed on the press tool base, the moved part is partially brought into the body hole until it touches the bottom of the cap. Matrix is installed on housing with alignment of their holes. Lower layer of explosive material is pressed with support on bottom of cap. In order to form an upper layer, the explosive material is partially placed in the die hole and first is pressed with pressure which is lower than the pressing pressure of the inner layer, followed by pre-pressing with pressure exceeding the pressing pressure of the inner layer. Prior to pressing, displacing part of base is lowered downwards to protrude above non-moving part. Extrusion is carried out in size with support on female die. At the same time the cap together with pressed layers are moved down to sinking relative to the housing end.
EFFECT: result is stability of operation of article and repeatability of characteristics in different batches.
