FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: pattern with an optically variable structure for anti-forgery protection, containing flat print lines and relief gravure print lines with a colourless embossing printed on a carrier. The flat print lines are a set of curved lines having a radius of curvature, the width of which varies from larger to smaller or from smaller to larger. The relief gravure print lines with the colourless embossing are a set of curved lines corresponding to the flat print lines and having the same radius of curvature. The relief lines are printed over the flat print lines, with the width of the relief lines and the flat print lines changing identically.

EFFECT: accurate overlapping of two types of printing allows to obtain a curvilinear relief structure, in which the width of the lines continuously changes, with the rotation of printed products a continuous optically variable effect is observed.
