SUBSTANCE: thermostat for domestic stoves fuelled by gas, contains chassis, which are formed by the inlet and outlet Canal, performed with the possibility of receiving gas flow from the feed source and for the filing of such gas flow in the gas burner. Also comprises a chamber having a cylindrical shape and in fluid communication with the inlet duct. The camera performed with the possibility of connection through the flowing medium with drain pipe, either directly through the main hole formed at its one end, or indirectly, via the auxiliary channel, which is formed in the housing of the thermostat and passes into the outlet canal, bypassing the specified the main hole. The mentioned main hole and the auxiliary duct are accordingly dimensioned to provide the maximum and minimum gas flow rates. The thermostat further comprises a valve having a cylindrical shape and controlling the flow rate of the gas. The mentioned valve is a one-piece valve disposed in the chamber coaxially with it and movable between a first position in which the main opening is completely released, thereby allowing the passage of the gas flow into the outlet channel and a second position in which the main opening is completely closed by the valve, and the gas flow reaches the discharge channel only through the auxiliary channel. The valve contains a pair of flanges formed at its free ends. The first flange faces the main chamber opening and has a diameter providing closure thereof in the mentioned second position. The second flange closes the camera at its opposite end. The second flange has a circumferential groove configured to receive a valve sealing member preventing gas from escaping from the chamber, the diameters of the first and second flanges being substantially equal to the diameter of the chamber. The inlet and the outlet auxiliary duct are in fluid communication through the cylindrical chamber for any axial position of the valve.
EFFECT: structural configuration of the thermostat housing and its channels is much more compact, functional and cheaper than the design configuration of thermostats known in the art.
