SUBSTANCE: method for proposing a search query that comprises receiving the first search query from the client device and querying the results of the first search with respect to the first search query. The first search query comprises at least one search term of the first query, sending the first search results of the first search to the client device, carried out using the first search query, receiving elements of the second search query from the client device. The elements of the second search query comprise at least one search term of the first query that is automatically added by the client device to the second search query, and before receiving the result query of the second search from the client device with respect to the second search query, sending at least one of the following to the client device: (I) at least one search query proposal based, at least partially, on the elements of the second search, and (II) the second search results of the second search carried out using at least one search query proposal.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of search query proposals.
