FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, a raw tape is converted into the finished one continuously moving and clamping it from above to the heated, smooth, slippery and level surface of the curved arc of a stationary table heated to 240°C, by means of a strong, endless mesh embracing and stretched over two parallel clamping cylinders. Each of the cylinders is located horizontally and, respectively, on both lengthwise ends of the table with the possibility of rotation. The mesh width corresponds to the tape width. The opposite surface of the table is heated by directional focused radiation in the near infrared region, controlling the temperature of the table surface with the tape automatically. The tape is clamped to the table with a force of, at least, 50 tons, which is evenly distributed over the surface of the table under the tape. One of the clamping cylinders is provided with a rotary drive.
EFFECT: increasing the curing process speed.
