FLEXIBLE HEAT AND SOUNDPROOFING FIBER MATERIAL OF LOW DENSITY Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC D04H1/00

Abstract RU 2641495 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: flexible heat and soundproofing fiber material is proposed, containing mineral fibers and fibers of plant origin as a base. As the fibres of plant origin, the material contains cotonised flax fibers, as well as mineral fibres: fibres with a diameter of 5 mcm, selected from a group containing basalt, quartz, silica fibers or fibers based on aluminium oxide, in addition, the material contains organic binder. The material density is not more than 15 kg/m3.

EFFECT: ensuring reliable operation of the thermal insulation in terms of cyclic thermal loads and vibrations and ability to resist extreme heating in cases of fire, a significant decrease in the proportion of material and increase in its flexibility while maintaining strength and thermal properties of the material, providing the requirements of fire safety in case of fire.
