FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining of an extract from spider plant leaves (Chlorophytum comosum) with prebiotic effect, wherein spider plant leaves are continuously washed under running water, then placed in the refrigerator chamber, crushed, again placed in the refrigerator chamber, freez-dried, then extraction is performed for which the freeze-dried leaves are placed in 70% ethyl alcohol, then in a thermostatic shaker, then pulled out and left at a room temperature; the first extract is filtered, then extraction of the processed raw material is repeated twice similar to the first one, then three extracts obtained are combined and concentrated on a rotary evaporator until complete removal of alcohol, the concentrated extract is autoclaved under certain conditions.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain an extract having prebiotic properties, stimulating growth and development of normal microflora.
