SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for timely processing of maintaining the stability of the network functions virtualization system (NFV) when processing a network service failure. The method according to embodiments of the present invention includes: after the service management system (SMS) detects that the VNF performance data is abnormal, sending the information of the communication request to the network service to the system control unit. The information of the communication request to the network service is used by the system control unit to check the failure and return the communication response to the network service to SMS; the implementation, via SMS, of fault troubleshooting according to the network service failure response and VNF performance data to obtain a troubleshooting report of network service failure; and sending a network service failure troubleshooting report to the system control unit, wherein the network service failure troubleshooting report is used by the system control unit to perform recovery from failure. Thus, the network service failure processing is implemented in the NFV environment.
