FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method of converting two-dimensional videorecord to a three-dimensional one contains the stages at which: the direction of movement and length of movement is calculated between the part of video frame x and a part of the video frame y; the viewed frames L and R are determined on the basis of the movement direction; the viewed frame R based on the direction of movement and length of movement is changed to create a changed viewed frame R'. The change of the viewed frame R based on the direction of movement includes the deformation of the viewed frame R to the direction of movement for the extension components on the basis of the direction of movement so that the components in the modified viewed frame R', which are closer to the first side of the changed viewed frame R' are stretched less than the components closer to the second side of the changed viewed frame R'. The components are located in the array to represent the snapshot in the changed viewed frame R' and each component is a part of the snapshot.

EFFECT: simplification of the conversion of two-dimensional videorecord into three-dimensional videorecord.
