FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device is designed for diagnostics of 6-10/0.4 kV power transformers of any power on availability of interturn short-circuits in transformer windings at early development stage of at area of power transformer operation. The device for diagnostics of interturn short-circuits in power transformer windings has a measuring unit connected to the power transformer. The device is connected to the power transformer from the low voltage side through a three-pole circuit breaker and comprises a known non-damaged transformer series-connected through the three-pole circuit breaker with matching transformer, and also diodes, adjusting rheostats and filters connected in series with each other, through which power conductors and matching transformers are connected to a ground conductor. The measuring unit is used to measure potential difference between two points which are located between the adjusting rheostats and the filters of the same phases of the power and known non-damaged transformers. There is a voltage measuring transformer used as a known non-damaged transformer, and galvanometers are used as devices for measuring potential difference between two points. The low cost of the device makes it possible to use it as a standard completing device of a transformer substation, ie without dismantling thereof upon measurements completion that simplifies its use and the measurement process.
EFFECT: provided possibility to detect interturn shor-circuit of power transformer at early development stage.
