FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises an annular magnetic circuit generating a magnetic field along the annular air gap, at least three armatures, each including a plurality of coils at least partially located in the annular air gap and each of which is configured to generate a levitation force in the levitation direction, orthogonal to the annular magnetic curcuit, and a driving force in the direction of driving along the annular magnetic circuit, wherein said armatures are arranged in different angular locations along said annular magnetic circuit, and a controller for supplying currents to said armatures for individual control of the generation of levitation forces and/or driving force by said armatures for rotary movement and/or oscillation motion and/or translational movement of said annular magnetic curcuit.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating a device where all six degrees of freedom are activated by a small number of elements.
