FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: granulation device contains a drum-pelletizer, branch pipes for loading material for granulation and unloading finished granules, a drum rotation drive, and an extruder forming the size of granules. According to the invention, the extruder is coaxially arranged and rigidly fixed inside the drum-pelletizer and in the form of a perforated drum with through holes in the cylindrical part of the drum, in which inner volume there is a pressing medium in the form of a mass of solid bodies. The diameter ratio of the extruder perforated drum to the diameter of the drum-pelletizer is equal to 1:2.0-2.4. In addition, the extruder is provided with a technical hatch with cover for supplying air or liquid, the holes of the extruder perforated drum have round or square shape, the size of solid bodies of the pressing medium is greater than the size of through holes of the extruder perforated drum in 4-6 times, the pressing medium is metal or ceramic bodies in the form of balls or rods, wherein the ratio of solid bodies in the extruder to the mass of granulated material is 8-12:1.
EFFECT: combination of extrusion and pelletizing units in one device that simplifies design of the device and increases operation efficiency due to expansion of both required range of granule size and their homogeneity.
