FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: door lock comprises a housing, as well as a feeding mechanism associated with a door handle, and a chamfered spring-loaded bolt made with the possibility to lock doors disposed in said housing. The chamfered spring-loaded bolt comprises a rod part made like a rod and a head disposed at the front end of the rod part and having chamfered surface. The rod part of the bolt is interfaced with a return spring, which ensures the possibility for the bolt head to project from a hole made in the housing sidewall. The feeding mechanism is made with the possibility to move the rod part of the bolt and thus to retract its head into the housing. The bolt is reversibly fixed in the housing by a locking mechanism of reversible type, so that the orientation direction of the chamfered surface of the bolt head is selected in accordance with the direction of closing the door. According to the proposed solution, the rod part and the feeding mechanism are combined using a reversible locking mechanism that can fix and release the rod part of the bolt. Thus, the possibility to quickly change the orientation direction of the bolt is ensured. The present invention can be used in a lock, the spring-loaded bolt of which has chamfered surface.
