SUBSTANCE: rotary roller drill bit comprises an outer diametral portion, a bit body having an end with a conical inner region and a shoulder disposed between the conical inner region and the outer diametral portion, a cutting surface attached to the end of the bit body. The cutting surface comprises a monoblock insert enclosed within a conical inner region formed by a first metal matrix impregnated with superabrasive particles and having a central region occupying the center of the cutting surface and a plurality of finger-shaped areas extending from the central region; a plurality of ribs extending outward from the monoblock insert to the outer diametral portion and formed of a second metal matrix impregnated with superabrasive particles; and a plurality of fluid channels formed between adjacent ribs. The monoblock insert has a density and hardness higher than the density and hardness of the ribs. Some of the ribs correspond to finger-like areas so that each corresponding rib is aligned with the corresponding finger-shaped region and has an end adjacent to it.
