FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to environmental protection, in particular to the cleaning of ice floes and snow covered with contaminated oil products, and can be used to quickly eliminate the consequences of man-made accidents associated with oil spills on the ice and snow surface, ensure the protection of water and land resources from oil pollution, preventing the area of oil pollution spread and reducing the harmful impact on the environment. Method for cleaning ice floes/snow from oil contamination is to treat the ice surface with a coolant at a preset temperature. In this case, the ice floes to be cleaned are placed in the hopper of the ice-melting compartment, treated with a coolant, melted down to form an oil-water emulsion, which is sent to a separator compartment where water is separated from oil fractions and cleaned to the required level. Coolant is used in the form of steam, the temperature of which is 100–200 °C, and the separator compartment is provided with a supplied filter. Process of cleaning ice floes from oil products is carried out in an autonomous technological ice-melting complex in a container version, including steam generator, ice-melting and filter separator compartments, separated by partitions. Steam generator compartment is used to produce steam and to ensure the effective melting of ice in the ice-melting bunker. Steam generator compartment is made up consisting of a steam generator and a system of steam pipes that are functionally connected to the ice-melting compartment, in the bunker of which the ice is melted with steam to form a liquid phase of the water-oil emulsion. In this case, the coolant is directed to the ice-melting compartment from the steam generator through heat exchangers in the form of perforated pipes located along the bottom and all walls of the compartment. Bottom is protected from the ice floes loaded into the ice-melting compartment. Between the bottom and the grate, a pipe is made for pumping the emulsion into the filter separator compartment, consisting of a pump unit and filter separator, functionally interconnected. Emulsion is fed through a pump aggregate into the filter separator, where water is separated from petroleum products, it is cleaned at a predetermined rate up to the requirements of sanitary standards with the subsequent removal of water and oil products through the nozzles into the respective prefabricated tanks.
EFFECT: achieved technical effect: the removal of petroleum products from ice areas of emergency oil spillage in any water area and on land, reducing the cleaning time with simultaneous increase in the efficiency of the cleaning contaminated ice floes with oil products process.
